Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is a broad term that describes a host of irregularities in the menstrual cycle. Explore the differential diagnosis of abnormal uterine bleeding and learn how to perform a complete workup including history, physical exam, diagnostics, imaging and surgical options.

Differentiate between primary and secondary amenorrhea during adolescence. Identify what to look for in a patient's history and physical exam. Explore anovulatory bleeding and its etiologies.

Review polycystic ovarian syndrome, including diagnostic testing and treatment.  Address the issues of weight-related menorrhea, ectopic pregnancy and anovulatory bleeding later in life.
